Hi viewers, This is a project for which we had drawn the plan and elevation around 6 years back. So, the construction and some interior work are done by other vendors So, this came back to us after doing the rounds for 6 years. This project is in Trivandrum itself, which is one of the main specialty of the project. There are some special features in this project that I like I will share these features in this video. This is not a fully finished project’s video We are recording this while the setting is going on We will upload the fully finished video in a week’s time. Thank you Owners of this project are Arun & family who are practitioners of Raja Yoga. So when you see that the interiors of the house, you can see Raja Yoga symbols at many places like doors, balcony railings, etc. Owners of this house are very peace loving and soft spoken So I assume that Raja Yoga is very effective Anyway, let’s see the interior of the house. First, you can see the sofa section. When you take sofa section, for a comfortable seating, a single seat should have a minimum width of 55 to 60 cm Mostly, when we buy from a shop, or order online, we only check the division of the sofa Like whether it is a 3-seater or 4-seater However, that alone is not enough. You should also check the width of the seats. Otherwise, even if we buy a 3-seater, three people won’t be able to sit comfortably. It will be too cramped. Be careful of that. Also, the material used for this sofa is artificial leather If you anticipate spilling of liquids, you can use this material. But, the color choices are quite limited. But, you can wipe and clean liquids. If you use fabrics, it can be wiped but you may have to do it immediately If you spill tea and immediately mop with a wet cloth, it will be clear Also woodwork in this house, it is mostly done using PVC foam wood as wood work was already done when we took over the project so we just brought it to the same finish Material is still PVC foam board This is the dining table and as they don’t have a separate breakfast table, this table is used for all meals So the selection of materials is based mostly on utility And not on visual appeal. This table is going to be used full time and hence even the fork and spoon collection and all are selected after considering the usability factor Ok, can you see? This shirt is of size 40 cm So to hang a shirt like this, the depth of the wardrobe, including its door it has to be a minimum of 50 cm. Otherwise, the clothes will not hang properly And when we close the wardrobe, the clothes will hang side-wise. Clothes won’t fall down, but it will be inconvenient. This could happen when we buy ready-made wardrobes. So that’s one thing. Plus Even when we build shelves, the width of the door is also an important factor Let’s check the width of this door Width of this door is more than 50 cm We need a minimum width of 45 cm to hang our usual clothes, that is comfortably hang the clothes So, in almost all our projects, we give doors with this kind of width and depth These are the kind of issues you see while buying ready-made doors We may forget to check the depth and width when we make the purchase Usually, to do a three door wardrobe, we need 1.5 sheets If we are using multi-wood, cost of one sheet is around INR 5000 So to make three doors, instead of using 1.5 sheets we can also do this in 1 sheet itself. So if we buy from a shop, even though it is a 3-door wardrobe, utility wise, it may not benefit us but we are able to save cost of half a sheet While building a house, all these small savings become important So this is similar to what I already told about the sofa When we reduce the width of the seating in a sofa, we don’t just reduce the width, we can also reduce the foam used we can reduce the length of fabric used, the wood used, and even the belts used inside This is how we eventually reduce the cost When we compare two products, we see that a company provides 3 door wardrobe at x cost whereas another company provide a 3 door wardrobe at a lesser cost How do they manage to give it a lesser cost? They do it by employing these kind of cost-reduction techniques So, both the companies are providing us 3 door wardrobes, but one wardrobe will be spacious enough to keep all our stuffs and the other will be cramped and we will realize this only after we start using it Realization comes after a few days of usage Similar to the seats of a sofa, only after we start sitting on it, we will understand the difference Thus the cost factor of all products is decided based on multiple things In a short video like this, I can’t completely explain everything However, in most of our project videos, I’ve shared how quality varies and how same product is sold at different prices Thank you for watching the video.
