I designed this model to be the event kit for BrickCon 2019. Chris Malloy did a wonderful job on the graphics, as well as adding the finishing touches to the model. Let’s start building! These are the feet of the figure, very stylish dark brown shoes. I love these scroll pieces. It was Chris’ idea to add more interest to the model. The bench is complete. Let’s start the legs. The ‘drive system’ is simply two offset cams. Let’s give her a nice dark azure skirt. Starting the table top. The table top has two integrated ‘pistons’ which will follow the cams. Pistons in action. Let’s add some veneer to the table top. The shoulders have pins to connect the arms. She is, of course, sporting some BrickCon swag. Time to build the head. Many ‘headlight’ bricks and bricks with studs on the side for connecting other parts. Let’s give her some interesting dark orange hair. And a nice tapered chin. Now for some arms. The arms just rest on the ‘pistons’. Let’s give her a 1×1 yellow plate, as she’s in the process of building the BrickCon logo. The arms are built identically. Now for the models. First up, a micro Saturn V. Using a magic wand from the Harry Potter sets as a nose. Next up, a micro farm. With a barn and silo. And finally, the BrickCon logo. Let’s motorize it! Using a Power Functions M-Motor.
